raemiller

Raé Miller has painted since the age of 12. After years of exploring other media, she discovered encaustic in 2001 and became an instant convert. Over the years she has come to appreciate the endless possibilities of wax, and is constantly implementing new ideas.

Raé is a founding member of International Encaustic Artists, a member of the Encaustic Art Institute, SAZWAX (Southern Arizona Wax) and Texas Wax, and was a Board Member of Indian Valley Artists, the artist’s group who laid the groundwork for what is now the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art in Novato, California.

Her work is represented by The Cameron Gallery in Dallas, Texas, and is held in private collections in the United States, Mexico, Canada, France, Norway and the Caribbean. Email Raé or visit her studio for information on workshops and private instruction in Encaustic Painting and Monotype.
