Edina Sagert was born and raised in Berlin, West Germany. Sagert was educated at art schools in Berlin and Portland, Oregon. In the ensuing years, she has taught classes in watercolor and drawing, has contributed illustrations for numerous books, and has created original designs for fabric manufacturers. Her paintings are currently exhibited in Portland, Oregon; Santa Fe, New Mexico and San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico, where she now resides and continues to teach and give special workshops.
